The new SBS DS Dual Sinter material and complex production technology were developed over three years. 
They were extensively tested on the SBS high-tech brake dynamometer test bench and by world championship 
racing teams to withstand the extreme stresses of speed and temperature.
SBS DS Dual Sinter also meets the performance demands of the seemingly never-ending development of engine 
performance, suspension, and tire technology in world championship racing.
The first victory in a Superbike World Championship race with DS Dual Sinter was celebrated on the podium at 
the introductory 2006 WSBK rounds in Qatar and Philip Island.
The first place in a Supersport World Championship race with DS Dual Sinter was celebrated at the legendary 
and demanding high-speed WSS 2006 race in Monza.
SBS's top teams completed the 24-hour World Championship races in Le Mans, Oschersleben, and Bol d'Or 
using only one set of brake caliper.
